Janae Gagnier, better known as Miss Mercedes Morr, a social media influencer, was found dead on Sunday in Richmond, Texas, in what appears to be a murder-suicide.

Officers discovered the dead after responding to a welfare check about 4 p.m. on Sunday.

Morr was found out deceased in the Cortland Apartments, located at 5200 Pointe West Circle in Richmond, as per ABC 13.

According to ABC 13, they also discovered the body of Kevin Alexander Accorto, 34 years old. He’s suspected of killing Gagnier.

The cause of the accident for the duo is unknown pending autopsy results, however, authorities have ruled it a murder-suicide.

Tory Lanez, a rapper, was among the first to disclose her death, posting “Rest in peace Queen” beside a picture of her on his Instagram story.

Almighty Jay, a rapper, also left a broken heart emoji on her most recent post.

Morr’s friends began showering her with condolences after receiving the news on Instagram.

What Was The Reason For Morr’s Demise?

Morr’s death was initially thought to be the result of a botched robbery, with others claiming she was shot to death.

Even though numerous people have confirmed and commented on her death, no proven cause has been revealed.

According to local news source KHOU, Richmond police have subsequently stated it was an apparent murder-suicide, with the Fort Bend County Medical Examiner stating that the influencer, whose real name was Janae Gagnier, was strangled.

At the moment of her demise, she was just 33 years old. 

OnlyFans hit the headlines earlier this month when they reversed their decision to ban inappropriate content after a large number of users abandoned the site as a result of the new policy.

While many creators left the company once the ban was announced, Morr stayed and worked until she died.

Morr, who has over two million Instagram followers, has left her fans and following devastated after news of her death in her Richmond apartment.

The news of Morr’s sudden death has shocked social media users as well as her friends and relatives. While most people are recalling how recently they connected with Morr before her demise, some have alleged that she was shot and died during the robbery, according to the outlet Social Telecast. 

Some of Morr’s acquaintances have also alleged that Morr died as a result of getting the coronavirus, but none of these claims have been addressed, much less formally validated, by authorized sources.

While Morr’s family has yet to formally comment on her death, a good friend named Meeko Suave posted a statement from the family on his Instagram account, as per Social Telecast.

Morr’s family thanks fans and followers for their prayers and support in the message, congratulating them for their nice words and asking that they respect the family’s privacy during this difficult time. The family also says that once the specifics surrounding Morr’s death are confirmed by authorities, they will acknowledge them.

Morr was born on November 26 in El Paso, Texas. She began her modeling career in 2014 and quickly rose to international stardom. 

The outpouring of sympathy on social media reflects Morr’s enormous celebrity. Marquis Trill, a cryptocurrency and blockchain mentor, paid tribute to Morr on Twitter with a snapshot of the two of them together.
