Judd Trump (born 20 August 1989) is a former world champion and former world number one snooker player from Bristol, England. With 23 ranking titles, he is widely regarded as one of the sport’s most talented players. He is currently sixth on the all-time list of ranking event winners. Judd Trump of England has established himself as the generation’s preeminent snooker player, being the 11th player to win each of the triple crown competitions at least once throughout his career in 2019.

Early Career of Judd Trump:

  Trump’s talent was clear at a young age, as he won national titles at the under-15, under-13, and under-18 levels, as well as semi-final appearances in the European under-19 and global under-21 tournaments. In March 2004, at the age of 14, he became the youngest player to make a 147 in a competitive match while competing in an under-16 event in Leicester.Following his professional debut, he became the youngest player to qualify for the TV stages of a ranking event tournament at the 2006 Welsh Open, and a year later, he became only the third 17-year-old to qualify for the World Championship final stages, losing 10-6 to former world champion Shaun Murphy. Judd Trump of England has established himself as the generation’s preeminent snooker player, being the 11th player to win each of the triple crown competitions at least once throughout his career in 2019. Trump was the English Under-13 and Under-15 champion, and at the age of 14, he reached the World Under-21 Championship semi-finals. He became the youngest player to make a competitive 147 at the same age. Before turning professional in 2005, he had a lot of success in youth tournaments. Trump earned his first ranking championship on April 3, 2011, when he defeated Mark Selby 10–8 in the final of the China Open. Following his performance in China, he advanced to the 2011 World Snooker Championship final, where he lost to John Higgins. After that, he won the 2011 UK Championship, defeating Mark Allen in the final 10–8. In 2019, he became the first man to win the World Snooker Championship, defeating Higgins 18–9 in the final.
